For initial washes, use plain water or a very small amount of neutral detergent. 3. During the initial washes of indigo-dyed items, the water may appear blue. As usage increases and with repeated washing, the color will gradually stabilize, and color transfer and fading will decrease. 4. For daily care, air dry in a cool place. Over time, the dye will naturally harden and stop fading. ▲ Washing Recommendations 1. Both machine washing and hand washing are acceptable. If using a washing machine, please use a laundry bag. 2. For vibrant and dark-colored garments, we recommend washing them separately for the first wash. 3. For linen items, if machine washing, a laundry bag is recommended.
