However, most embroidered cloth patches require ironing to adhere properly to fabric materials or to cover holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them perfect for smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They are ideal as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Using our embroidered patches is simple: ▪️ Smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Simply peel off the backing and stick. No ironing is needed, and they won't easily come off! ▪️ Fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Use a pressing cloth to protect the embroidery thread from high heat and iron for 20-25 seconds. Allow it to cool completely for a secure bond. For added durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing them on with a sewing machine or by hand will also ensure they stay put! 🏷 What if the fabric cannot be ironed or I'm unsure if it can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you are unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing them on with a sewing machine or by hand to prevent damage from high heat. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive on the embroidered patches? Will they fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have a sufficient adhesive backing and are unlikely to fall off when applied to typical smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), ironing and sewing for reinforcement will increase their durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off if washed? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can withstand machine washing without easily coming off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is designed for single use and cannot be reapplied. We recommend confirming the placement before sticking them on. If you remove a patch and wish to reuse it, the embroidered fabric surface can still be sewn onto fabric as a decoration. 🏷 Will there be adhesive residue after removing the embroidered patches? Due to their strong adhesive, some residue may be left behind after removal. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Before using any cleaning agent, please check if your item's surface material is compatible to avoid damage. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue; the adhesive on the embroidered patches can melt with heat, making them stickier and harder to remove.
