Similar to the baking process, there might be slight variations in color and height (within 1-2mm of the actual dimensions) between different mat pieces when joined. Some mats may exhibit minor surface speckles, black dots, or indentations. If smaller than 1.5cm, these are considered normal and not defects. 2. A non-toxic oil is applied to the mat surface before shipping. For initial use, we recommend washing the mats with a degreasing cleaner to prevent the floor from becoming slippery. 3. The mats may have a slight new product smell, distinct from a toxic plastic odor. This smell will gradually dissipate after washing and air-drying in a well-ventilated area. 4. For long-term use, regularly lift and air out the mats to ensure both the mat and the floor remain completely dry. Our dual-tone mats are fully waterproof and made of dense, thick material. Prolonged contact with certain floor types (e.g., those containing PVC) may cause oxidation differences compared to surrounding areas, leading to color variations.
