Every year, the Spring Festival couplets and red envelope bags are the result of a careful design that takes the studio three to four months from conception, proofing to finished product. The styles have been adjusted and refined many times; they are printed using pure hand-made silk screen printing. Touching the three-dimensional printing ink, seeing the delicate mesh pattern, the complicated process of color registration and hand printing are all irreplaceable and warm feelings during the New Year.
Red envelopes symbolize good luck and auspiciousness. Traditionally, red envelopes represent blessings to others, hoping that they will be safe and happy in the new year. The two-color overprinting method is used for separate printing, with special colors - gold and light gold. Each style needs to be printed twice.
