This cup holds a delightful surprise: once empty, you'll discover two naturally fallen glaze droplets at the bottom, which we call **kiln sweat**. (Figure 5)
Only when the temperature inside a wood-fired kiln reaches an extreme high does a very rare phenomenon occur beneath the kiln's shelf, resulting in perfectly dripped glaze onto the piece, thus birthing these very special "raindrop" works.
