This is a five-pen case meticulously hand-stitched using techniques that cannot be replicated by sewing machines, often utilizing fine Italian leathers. The distinctive shape of the Koma-awase-nui technique comes from joining the leather at right angles. Pens are secured and stored by their clips. While tailored for fountain pens with thicker barrels, it can also accommodate slimmer ballpoint pens or pencils. The interior is lined with suede partitions to prevent your pens from scratching each other. From Badarassi Carlo company's "Pueblo" leather, you can choose from: Petròlio (Blue tones) Napoli (Yellow) Oliva (Green tones) Cognac (Camel tones) Tabacco (Dark brown) Coccinella (Reddish-brown tones) Grigio (Gray) Pueblo leather is characterized by its scratch-processed surface, making minor scuffs less noticeable, and it exhibits significant changes in color and texture over time. The inside of the flap is lined with soft suede, and you can select the suede color from the following options: Beige Black Brown Blue Navy Green Red Wine Red Wine You can also choose your stitching color from 10 options: From the top left: Ivory, Brown, Orange, Yellow, Black Red, Wine, Violet, Blue, Green When purchasing, please specify your case size, exterior leather color, interior suede color, and stitching color in the order notes. Both Pueblo and Meyne leathers have distinct characteristics, textures, and finishes. If you are unsure when ordering, please feel free to contact us. As Pueblo and Meyne are dyed leathers, please be aware that there may be slight color variations due to the timing of their arrival, and the actual color might differ from the sample. Also, please understand that as vegetable-tanned leather, the color will change over time (especially with Pueblo, the color change is more pronounced). Due to the nature of natural leather, which emphasizes its texture and feel, you may notice markings like 'tora' (grain patterns) and 'ketsujin' (vein lines) which are signs of the animal's life. Please understand that these are integral to the leather's character and quality. As these are dye finishes, color variations may occur between batches, and the color may differ from the sample. Due to the natural properties of leather, there might be slight color inconsistencies, grain patterns, or minor marks, which are all part of the material's unique charm.
