X888:3952 Laoshan Yang - Yellow Rosewood (High-Definition High-Gloss Edition), Simple and Elegant, Perfect Balance, Comfortable Writing Model. Dignified barrel-shaped cap, with a flexible clip mechanism, gunmetal grey electroplated metal accents, and a high-definition high-gloss yellow rosewood finish. Premium wood is treated with advanced techniques for easy maintenance, resisting ink and hand sweat stains, making the wood grain appear more three-dimensional. Natural wood grain (each pen has a unique grain, high-quality randomly selected). (The high-definition high-gloss finish involves multiple layers of transparent lacquer and polishing until the pores formed by the wood grain over time are filled. This process requires at least dozens of lacquer applications. This technique creates a smoother surface, enhancing the writing feel and making the exquisite wood grain more three-dimensional and clearer. It also makes the surface easier to maintain, protecting the wooden body from accidental ink spills. However, this finishing process incurs higher costs. Both the high-definition high-gloss and non-high-definition finishes have their own charm, appealing to different tastes. Laoshan Yang Pens proudly offers this to you, and thanks you for your support.) Screw-in, airtight cap, perfectly balanced grip section design, a comfortable writing model that is both simple and elegant.
The nib is a German Bock #250 (#6) standard titanium nib, handcrafted and adjusted by Laoshan Yang artisans into a calligraphy nib capable of producing variable line widths, offering a unique brush-like character and a distinct feel, with more flexibility than standard steel calligraphy nibs.

Hand-Ground and Adjusted Calligraphy Nib:
1. For calligraphy nibs, it is recommended to start by dipping the nib in ink for writing (leave the converter installed in the barrel; do not remove it to prevent ink from flowing back into the pen body after writing). Get accustomed to the nib's characteristics through writing. After some use, then use the converter for inking.
2. The calligraphy nib is an EF nib ground and adjusted to have a curved tip, achieving line width variation not solely by pressure, but by the angle of the pen. Hold the pen upright; less of the nib touches the paper, resulting in finer lines. The more you tilt the pen or apply slight pressure, the more of the nib touches the paper, producing broader lines. The ability to write both broadly and finely depends on your skill (each nib can withstand a certain degree of pressure; do not apply excessive force to avoid damaging or misaligning the nib. It is recommended to use a writing pad under the paper).
In response to environmental protection, gift bags are not provided by default. If you require one for gifting, please specify in the order notes after purchase. Thank you.
Images are for reference only. The product is a single pen. Some photos may exhibit slight color variations due to lighting and angles; the actual product prevails.
Note: Regularly wipe and maintain the inside of the pen body and cap. When at rest, do not store the pen with the nib pointing downwards for extended periods.
Friendly Reminder: Do not press down on the nib when writing, nor write with the nib angled excessively to the left or right (for right-handed users, it is recommended to hold the pen so the nib points towards the 10 or 11 o'clock position). This prevents potential misalignment of the iridium tip, which can cause scratching or ink flow issues. The nib should be rinsed with clean water regularly to prevent ink buildup and blockage, ensuring optimal writing performance.
