Japanese Hinoki Wood Brooch - Madohana Teapot with Magpie and Plum

[Madohana] refers to small paper-cut patterns pasted on windows. In this context, "Hana" (Flower) signifies patterns or motifs. In Chinese, the word for "brow" sounds the same as the word for "plum branch."
