[Precautions for Use]
※ Vases / Decorative Plates / Ornaments
These items use decorative paints to maintain their aesthetic appeal and vibrant colors. Therefore, please do not use them as tableware.
Place decorative plates and ornaments in a stable location where they will not wobble.
When storing (especially items containing gold or silver), gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth to remove dirt before carefully storing.
※ Tableware
Do not microwave or heat tableware containing gold or silver, as it may cause surface discoloration and pose a fire risk.
Thinner teacups and yunomi (tea cups) conduct heat easily; be cautious of burns when handling.
Tableware made of mixed materials (e.g., ceramic and metal, ceramic and glass) are assembled with adhesives. Do not heat directly on a stove, induction cooktop, or in an oven. Do not place in a dishwasher.
Earthenware has high water absorbency. Before use, soak in hot water to allow the material to fill with moisture. This will prevent the ware from staining or absorbing odors from tea.
Wash as soon as possible after use. Do not use detergents, abrasive scrubbers, or stiff brushes. Do not use a dishwasher, as this can damage the surface. Use kitchen-specific detergents and wash with a soft sponge. Dry thoroughly with a kitchen towel before storing.
※ Scratch Warning
The bottom of Kutani ware porcelain is unglazed. Placing it on lacquered floors, flower stands, shelves, or tables may cause scratches. Always use a coaster or a cloth mat.
These pieces are not only works of art to be admired for the artisan's dedication, but also bring joy and beauty to everyday life!
