Brass Care Instructions: Brass has long been a popular material for jewelry due to its affordability and resistance to fading. However, like silver, brass is prone to oxidation. Exposure to rain, sweat, and air can deepen its color. While some appreciate this natural patina, to maintain its original luster, please follow these guidelines: ♦ Avoid contact with water. ♦ Store in a resealable pouch when not being worn. If the luster appears diminished, a few simple methods can quickly restore your jewelry to its former radiance. Please note that while color can be restored, significant scratches may not regain their original shine (though the matte, antique bronze look is also quite beautiful!). ♦ Gently scrub with a toothbrush dipped in a foaming toothpaste or tooth powder, similar to brushing your teeth.
