It's a patient process, taking anywhere from a week to a month to carve a single block. However, because it's done by hand, we can freely change the combination of blocks and colors, which is the charm of being able to create an infinite variety of patterns. Furthermore, the process of stamping each piece by hand results in subtle blurs and misalignments, creating a unique charm distinct from uniform industrial products. These are all prayer patterns.
