A limited edition, handmade crown candlestick, a collaboration between renowned British artist Rose Nisbet and British Colour Standard. Available in Blue Gold/Pink Gold. Each piece is entirely handmade, with subtle differences in touch and finish. This candlestick can hold 6 British Colour Standard candles. Rose Nisbet, born in Bristol, UK, entered the University of the Arts London, Central Saint Martins, at the age of 18 to study Surface Design. During her studies, she serendipitously took an evening pottery class, igniting a passion for ceramics. The fusion of surface design and pottery has paved the way for her unique design style. Rose utilizes slab-building techniques to create her ceramic works, pressing recycled earthenware clay into thin sheets to form unusual shapes. The combination of clay slip and ceramic pigments results in bold and striking colors. Rose also favors gold embellishments for her pieces; her gold detailing incorporates real gold, and its translucency adds a touch of sophistication to her playful and whimsical designs.
