Bracelet featuring Old Tibetan Turquoise, Gold-Red White Hearts, Ancient Crystal, Old Indian Silver Charm, Old Chin Silver & Orissa Brass, and Curved Karen Silver.
The Old Tibetan Turquoise is approximately 100 to 200 years old (possibly even older). It was acquired from someone who traveled to Tibet to source it directly. Turquoise is often referred to as "Fallen Skystone." Since ancient times, it has been used in various countries as an amulet and a sacred stone.
In Tibet, it is used as a talisman and sometimes even as medicine. It is one of the stones that has been inherited and worn for thousands of years.
This is natural turquoise with no coating or treatment.
The streamlined form combined with its deep, rugged color makes this Old Tibetan Turquoise incredibly cool.
(Turquoise size: H 1.4cm, W 1.1cm, Thickness 0.6cm)
The deep red beads are antique beads known as "White Hearts." They are called this because the core (heart) of the bead is white. These are Venetian beads from around the 19th to 20th century. Specifically, these are rare beads known as "Gold-Red White Hearts" because gold was used to create the vibrant red color.
The perfectly round Ancient Crystal at the top came from Pakistan. It dates back to the Roman era, approximately 1500 years ago.
Although there are some scratches, it is a crystal full of character and history.
The pot-shaped silver beads sandwiching the Old Tibetan Turquoise are Old Chin Silver. These are heirlooms from around the 18th to 19th centuries, sourced from Burma (Myanmar).
Originally used in necklaces by women of the Chin tribe, they show a unique wear and patina with lovely scratches. Their weight and presence are incomparable to modern silver (though modern pieces can be cool too...). These beads are truly rare and valuable!
The gold-colored beads and the anchor-like charm next to the turquoise are Old Orissa Brass. These are rare antique beads from the state of Odisha, India.
The top charm is antique Indian silver. It was made between the 19th and early 20th centuries.
I believe a unique luster will appear as you wear it more often.
Depicted in the center is Bhumiya Raj, a legendary hero of Rajasthan, India, riding a horse.
(Size: H 1.8cm, W 1.3cm, including the loop)
The curved Karen Silver has volume but is hollow inside, so it is not heavy.
It features two types of leaf patterns. (This is the only one I was able to procure this time!)
The small beads and the clasp hook are also stamped Karen Silver.
◇ Karen Silver ◇
Silver crafted by hill tribes living in Thailand and Burma.
Each piece is handmade and is said to have very high purity.
This is a special bracelet where every single material has been carefully selected.
Size adjustments are possible, but due to the shape of the curved Karen Silver used, we may not be able to meet your exact size request perfectly.
(We will try to make it as close as possible, but if the size is too small or too large, the balance of the design might be compromised.)
