Celine vintage Triomphe CC RING (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎), 100% authentic pre-owned!
If you have any questions, please message before placing an order. All sales are final.
This piece is quite rare! 100% authentic Celine ring with its original box. It's sterling silver, and the entire band features the Triomphe motif!
As a collector, I don't often acquire jewelry (definitely less than bags......). Compared to bags, accessories aren't always the most cost-effective, especially from Celine and Loewe, my two favorite brands. These brands don't produce a vast array of accessories,
(unlike Dior or Chanel, which have an overwhelming number of styles...!) so Celine accessories have a lower circulation in the pre-owned market.
When circulation is low, prices tend to remain high. Furthermore, precious metal jewelry from Japan is inherently expensive.
If you follow Japanese jewelry, you'll know that even pieces from niche brands are pricey if they're made of precious metals.
So, finding this was a stroke of luck, a real gem. I acquired a similar thick band style about a year ago,
but it was snapped up by a regular customer before I could even list it. This one is the same style and comes with its original ring box.

A primary reason I love pre-owned bags is that the materials from past eras are far superior to those in modern new releases.
In the past, most production processes for pre-owned items were ✦handmade, imbued with the warmth of human touch rather than mass production.
The craftsmanship of artisans is undeniably more delicate than machines. It's similar to how everyone appreciates products crafted by skilled artisans!
However, today, the vast majority of processes are machine-made with minimal human assembly, losing that original refinement.
I find the simplest, most direct way to see this is by comparing the recent "revival" versions of iconic monograms with the genuine ones from older eras.
The level of detail in the monogram patterns alone is completely different. If you love monograms, seek out pre-owned pieces! Truly!
In terms of style, older pieces tend to be ✦simple, timeless, and enduring. Many new designs today are actually remakes of older styles.
Yet, new releases are priced higher than vintage counterparts. New designs are typically based on older models, with added details or modifications.
The final product often ends up more complex (or perhaps peculiar......) than its predecessors. I believe as we mature, we understand one thing:
the simpler, the more enduring! As we age, even our clothing choices gravitate towards basics because the most fundamental pieces are the most versatile.
The quality of materials in older pieces is superior to newer ones. If you understand ✦leather, you'll see it immediately; the materials in new releases are often secondary to those used in vintage items.
This is mainly because the cost of high-quality raw materials is now too high, and their availability is less than before. Earth's resources are dwindling!
Furthermore, back then, brands didn't have the "ubiquitous" presence of numerous branches like they do now. The clientele typically had a certain income level
and specific expectations for their purchases. There wasn't the "fast fashion" culture of today; a bag was expected to be used for many years.
The difference between new and old eras is clearly visible in the ✦hardware. Many new pieces' hardware oxidizes and discolors after just a year or two of use,
but vintage items typically do not. Besides the high-quality materials and meticulous techniques, hardware from earlier eras was often plated with real K gold!
It's worth noting that Chanel Vintage is expensive for a reason; many of its clasps and chains contain real gold, certified by gold merchants!
This is why even vintage bags from as early as the 60s and 70s, if well-preserved, can still have gleaming hardware today.
As for new releases available now, from my knowledge of brands, none of their hardware contains K gold, which is why it oxidizes so easily.
Many say buying a Vintage bag is a form of alternative investment, as they rarely depreciate and often increase in value.
This is because well-preserved pre-owned bags are becoming increasingly scarce in the market; each one gone is one less. Remember, each of these is discontinued,
and the number existing in the world will only decrease, making them more expensive and harder to find.
Moreover, many brands increase their prices periodically, and each increase drives up the prices in the pre-owned market.
If a brand releases a "reissue," the reference vintage pieces or similar styles will see a sharp price increase!
Add to this the recent trend of Japanese and Korean celebrities favoring vintage items. Once a particular style is seen on a celebrity, its price skyrockets, truly skyrockets.
During that period, many people will frantically search for that style or a similar alternative, causing the prices of those few pieces to multiply exponentially.
Therefore, vintage is truly a case of "buy early, enjoy longer; buy late, pay more" (this isn't an advertising slogan... it's a truth in the vintage world...).
This is my personal experience; I regret not acquiring certain collections earlier, and now I can't find them, or if I do, the price is astronomical.
But the issue is, even knowing the price is astronomical, you're compelled to buy because waiting will only mean a higher price (unless the condition is poor).
I'm often asked about bag maintenance (ᐢ.ˬ.ᐢ). I'll include a small note with care instructions inside the bag, so don't worry.
My personal habit is to give them a polish when I organize my closet during seasonal changes (so each seasonal change is quite an undertaking... |||).
Actually, pre-owned bags aren't that troublesome. For newcomers, it's simply about getting used to regular maintenance and cherishing the bag. Once it becomes a habit, it's not difficult.
The materials of pre-owned bags are inherently excellent. As long as they aren't used roughly and are stored properly, they can easily last another ten years and be passed down to your daughter!
Every pre-owned bag I collect is one I genuinely love, so I hope you will too and can preserve it for years to come ☪︎ *.。
