This AVON necklace is unmarked. Many plastic chains from that era are unmarked, and having the original box would better authenticate its identity. This piece dates back to 1987, with the product name "Avon Sunsations." This collection has been seen in catalogs in red and yellow variations. While many might consider plastic material to be of little value, it was the gateway material that first drew me into the world of vintage jewelry 20 years ago. Back then, I was captivated by Pop Art and Space Age designs, and plastic was one of the most essential materials. This necklace does not come with its original box. It is in excellent condition. Material: Plastic. It is strung on cotton thread, but you can easily replace it with fishing line yourself.
