▌**John. Ridinger "Deer" Johann Ridinger "Stag"**1861-1885
John. Riddinger (1698-1767) was a German painter, sculptor, draftsman, and publisher. He is considered to be one of the most famous animal carvers in Germany, especially good at creating art on horses, hunting dogs and hunting scenes.
Riddinger began his training in Ulm, Bavaria, and later in Augsburg with the painter Christoph. Reschi studied the art of carving. He uses unique portrayal techniques to express the unique movements and demeanor of animals in the natural environment, and integrates into the current popular Rococo style, which adds a lot of elegance and vividness to his animals.
Later, Riddinger established his own art publishing house in Augsburg, which included most of his works, some of which were even used by nobles on delicate vases and bowls.
