The owl, a symbol of good fortune believed to bring happiness. It is often associated with meanings such as "no hardship," "god of learning," and "prosperity in business." We have beautifully captured this auspicious owl using the無線七宝 (musen shippo) technique. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by our experienced artisans, from cutting the copper plate by hand to shaping it with hammering, applying glaze, and firing it in the kiln. Consequently, the colors and expressions vary subtly in each item. This is the charm of Shippo-yaki accessories – no two are exactly alike.
