They are not plated, as plating can eventually peel and fade. I prefer the enduring quality of pure materials, so unless a customer specifically requests it, I do not use plating. 【Ring Sizing and Important Notes】 1. Many factors influence ring size, including finger shape, tendency for swelling, measurement methods, season, and temperature. Even with tools, a perfect fit cannot always be guaranteed. Slight looseness or tightness is common and considered normal as long as the ring doesn't fall off or cause pain. 2. When using a ring sizer, aim for a comfortable fit that doesn't slip off. If a size 12 is too loose and an 11 is too tight, size 11.5 might be ideal. Finger size fluctuates with the seasons due to thermal expansion and contraction; typically, fingers are about half a size larger in summer than in winter. Ideally, a ring should feel slightly snug in summer and slightly loose in winter, or one can simply switch fingers for wearing depending on the season. __If you are prone to swelling, avoid measuring your finger when it is swollen to ensure accuracy.__ 3. For orders over NT$1,000, we offer a complimentary ring sizer by mail. It will be sent after your order is placed and paid for. Please provide your mailing address. 4. If you don't have a measuring tool, it's recommended to visit a nearby jewelry store or pawnshop and have them measure your finger with their tools for a more accurate sizing. 5. You can measure the inner diameter of a well-fitting old ring and compare it with a ring size chart, or provide the measurement to the designer. __The inner circumference of the old ring must be perfectly round; deformed rings are not suitable.__ Visual estimation can lead to errors; a caliper is recommended for precise measurement. 6. Cut a strip of paper approximately 5mm wide and long enough to circle your finger. Wrap it snugly but comfortably around your finger. Mark where the paper overlaps. Unroll the paper and measure the length for your finger's circumference, then compare it to a ring size chart or provide the measurement to the designer. __This method can be prone to errors if the paper is not pulled sufficiently tight or is pulled too tight, so please be mindful.__ 7.
