❍ About This Piece From the washbasin to the work desk, we wanted to create a soap dish that is both truly functional and aesthetically pleasing. Through our own use, we slowly refined and adjusted the design, aiming for a simple form with a touch of thoughtful detail. It's perfectly sized to hold a bar of soap and just right for allowing water to drain away. Not flashy, but genuinely practical. We chose terracotta clay, a type of earth with slightly coarse particles. The resulting pieces are not as refined as porcelain, but they possess a natural simplicity and authenticity that you can feel and see. The surface may feature some speckles, pinholes, or minor glaze cracks; these are not flaws but natural characteristics that emerged during the firing process. ❍ Material Terracotta clay, glaze ❍ Dimensions The dish is specifically designed for handmade soaps approximately 8 × 6 × 2.5 cm, perfectly sized to hold your soap securely and make it easy to use. (Each piece is handmade, so dimensions may vary slightly.) ❍ Craftsmanship Details Each piece is fired at high temperatures twice for durability. Occasional pinholes, natural glaze variations, or fine crack lines on the surface are inherent characteristics of the clay and the firing process. As handcrafted items, the curves and glaze distribution of each piece will vary slightly, lending it its unique personality. ❍ Packaging & Sustainability All our shipments are packaged using recycled bubble wrap and cardboard boxes. While it may not be exquisitely presented, for us, giving every resource a second life is the better choice. | About Handmade | Each piece is hand-formed and glazed. The glaze flows naturally, and the lines are unique. Minor crackles formed during firing do not affect usability; please rest assured.
