It adds a quiet, understated presence to any room without being overpowering.  **Utilizing Original Dyeing Liquid from 'Tachibana Textile Research Institute'** The original dyeing liquid, "Kakishibu Tetsubaisen," was developed by the 'Tachibana Textile Research Institute' located in Mukoujima, Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. This dyeing method involves first applying a persimmon tannin base coat, then immersing the wood in a liquid containing iron powder to achieve a rich, burnt-brown color. The dyeing liquid is naturally derived, using wood vinegar (a liquid obtained by cooling the components of smoke generated during charcoal production) from a local charcoal kiln in Onomichi City, combined with iron powder sourced from a local steelworks.  **The Seat and Legs are Separated and Dyed Individually with Care** The "LISCIO Stool" features detachable seat and legs. Each component is meticulously dyed by hand after being disassembled. The natural indigo dye harmonizes beautifully with the solid wood, ensuring a flawless finish without any missed spots. Born in Fukuoka in 1946. After graduating from the Department of Industrial Design at Musashino Art University and working at Nagano Interior Industries Co., Ltd., he established Nobuo Mori Design Room in 1987.
