This is printed documentation of Hong Kong in 2019, which aimed to trigger readers to explore Hong Kong regards its sophisticated history. Hong Kong Jack Ciao maps started in 2016. 3 years ago, we wanted to find out and visualize the unchanged bits of Hong Kong since the change of sovereignty. The first Jack Ciao map was then born to re-discover and re-define the uniqueness of our city. Today, 23 years after 1997, Hong Kong has become a setting for disaster films every single weekend. Fleeing is no longer imagination only but a practical and urgent matter. In such difficult times, 2 new maps are made. Its luminous silkscreen painting is passing a message to the reader.
