The soul-attracting messenger, Sisin, the ancestral spirit bird that believes in the rainbow, brings Hanfei cherry petals and places them on the heads of those who died in the battle. On the petals is written: "ハヤクコウサンスルモノハコロサナイ". After the Seediq tribe was suppressed by poisonous gas by the Japanese army, the painful tribesmen who inhaled the poison decided to end their lives; however, committing suicide is not in line with the spirit of aboriginal warriors.
