Wool paintings depict a deep and tranquil world with layers of colors and lines that take shape. Like a piece of a story, this brooch adds a small but lovely world to your life.
/// Wool Brooches /// Wool is like cotton.
Wool is a mass like cotton, but when you break it up, you find thin, fine sheep's wool. The wool is like a lump of cotton, but when you break it open, you find a fine, thin wool.
The pictures drawn with wool cannot be drawn as neatly and tightly as pencil drawings, but rather feel pastoral and free and spontaneous, like the world of a fable created by a young child.
The small world created by hand and the richness of the wool expression can be enjoyed in everyday life.
/// The special care of the wool brooches ///
The process of wool painting involves taking wool of various colors, just a few millimeters at a time, piling them on top of each other, and then stabbing them together to create the colors and shapes little by little over a long period of time.
The finished woolen painting is then embroidered exclusively with Hiroshima beads, vintage Japanese beads made more than 50 years ago.
Hiroshima beads, which are used in Paris Collection and Haute Couture, were made by world-class skilled craftsmen. Unfortunately, there are no successors to the Hiroshima beads and they are no longer manufactured, so they are considered a rare and fantastic item.
The beautiful Hiroshima beads, which were collected little by little, are embroidered in a dot-like pattern to add richness to the woolen brooches.
We hope you will enjoy the tasteful and familiar tones of the glass beads after decades of use.
Finally, a thinly wavy patterned brass piece is added to serve as a frame to protect the wool painting. The discreetly gleaming brass edging finishes off the brooch in a dainty way.
This little brooch is made with the “joy” and “beauty” I felt as a child.
It is a great honor for me to be able to offer these woolen brooches, which I have captured and given form to the crystals of my precious memories, to people who like them.
Like an old picture book that has quietly existed on a bookshelf, when you pick it up, your heart will glow with nostalgia and a distant murmur...please enjoy this brooch that weaves such a story.
The brooch pin is rotatable.
When you put it on your top or bag, it will not come off easily and you do not have to worry about losing it, so you can use it safely and securely.
