The dorsal fin, pectoral fin, pelvic fin, and caudal fin (all four tails) are all made very thin so that they can be transparent. Even the fine lines on the tail fin are carefully drawn one by one with a thin brush. To ensure that the colors would come out beautifully, I applied multiple coats of different colors, starting with the base coat, on not only the body but also the hair-thin stripes on the fins. The red and white Ryukin has transparent fins with white highlights, so you can enjoy the fine lines of the fish. The pearl paint is used to give it a scaly look, and it sparkles delicately depending on the angle. We also pay particular attention to the cuteness of the faces of our goldfish. The eyes are as small as the tip of a pen, and in order to make them look as realistic as possible, in addition to the pupil and white of the eye, we have also drawn a faint outline on the outer edge of the white of the eye, so even though they are small, you can feel their presence.
