A technique called anodizing is used to control the thickness of the oxide film to produce a variety of colors.

Titanium is very resistant to discoloration, so no special daily care is required. If it becomes dirty with oil or other dirt, it may appear to have changed color, so if you are concerned about this, wipe it with a soft cloth. When doing so, do not use a cloth containing abrasives, as this may cause the color to be scraped off.

Titanium is a metal that does not easily cause metal allergies, but if you experience any skin irritation, discontinue use. Please note that the oxide film is very thin, so the color may fade if it comes into contact with or rubs against a hard object.
