This is a delicate necklace connecting leaf-shaped Karen silver, carnelian, turquoise, Herkimer diamond, and small lapis lazuli. The silver parts, resembling leaves or flower calyxes, are made of Karen silver. The upper part is shaped like a flower's calyx. A teardrop-shaped carnelian is featured at the center. Scattered around are carnelian nuggets coated with 18k gold. Small Karen silver beads between the clasp and the carnelian are stamped with a floral motif. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by a hill tribe living in the Tairyu-Burma region. Each piece is handmade and said to have a very high purity. The small bell is Indian silver. It does not chime. Carnelian with fine cuts is arranged to create a gradient. The transparent stones are quartz. The mint green beads are square-cut turquoise with a rustic finish. Their bright hue evokes the seas of a southern paradise. (Size: Diameter 0.35cm) High-transparency, twin-terminated Herkimer diamonds have been incorporated. Herkimer diamonds are quartz crystals mined from the Herkimer region of New York State. The very small, abacus-shaped lapis lazuli beads are from Afghanistan. As they are hand-carved, their shapes may be slightly irregular, and their sizes may vary. This irregularity adds to their unique charm. With wear, the natural oils from the skin will help maintain their deep color, though they may appear slightly lighter when dry. For storage, or if they appear dry, we recommend gently applying a tiny amount of baby oil to your hands before handling.
