When visiting environments with sulfur, such as hot springs, it is recommended to store the jewelry in a sealed bag to prevent tarnishing from contact with sulfur in the air. Post-Plating Care 1. For plated jewelry, simply rinse with clean water and dry with a soft eyeglass cloth. 2. It is not recommended to use silver polishing cloths or silver cleaning solutions on plated or oxidized black jewelry, as this can affect the durability of the plating or cause it to peel. 3. For plated silver jewelry, try to avoid contact with chemical agents such as volatile perfumes, essential oils, or alcohol-based solutions, which can shorten the lifespan of the plating. 4.
