Black silver will gradually return to bright silver with wear. For re-darkening, use sulfur solution (or sulfur hot spring). __Matte Gold/Silver/Black Silver/Copper Pieces__ These have been wax-treated to resist oxidation and require no special care. The matte texture will gradually transform into a polished look with wear. To restore the matte finish, gently brush the surface with a scouring pad in straight or random strokes. __Gold Leaf/Painted Gold Pieces__ Remove before bathing to avoid scratches to the gold leaf/painted surface. __Enamel/Gemstone Pieces__ Enamel doesn’t oxidize. Avoid using abrasive cloths.
