We aimed for a sleek and clean appearance, different from the round, chunky vessels we usually make. The patterns created by the two types of glaze overlapping, melting and flowing give the vessel a sense of maturity and warmth. The dark tea glaze is applied over a wide area, giving the piece a thick, flowing finish with a Japanese feel reminiscent of matcha and black candy. It is a deep, convenient size. Leafy salads, potato salad, soups, side dishes, cereals, yogurt, etc. It's the perfect size for when you want to serve small items. I use a small electric kiln and an electric potter's wheel at home to make my pottery, and I do all of the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. Although we cannot mass-produce them, each one has its own unique expression, allowing you to enjoy the flavor that comes from being made by hand. Using various glazes and clays, I create a wide variety of pottery in different colors and shapes, searching for the best combinations.
