Rainy Free Cup

Pottery, handmade, hand-painted, one-of-a-kind Diameter 8cm Height 7cm This free cup (teacup) features a modern art design in which pink cosmetic mud is brushed onto white clay, and then rhythmically painted with rain patterns in indigo blue gosu. The rain patterns are erased so that traces remain, and gradations are added to add variety and flavor. The edges are painted with a Bronze glaze that resembles rusted metal. The inside is white. *Unlike porcelain, pottery (earthenware) has a soft, warm ceramic surface. Also, there may be pinholes (holes in the glaze) or small chips in the glaze which do not affect the use of the product, but we hope that you will consider these to be part of the unique character of earthenware and add to its charm. This is the unique imperfect beauty, or charm, of earthenware. Since pottery is made from clay, when you hold it in your hands it gives a more rustic impression than it does in pictures. However, that's only at the beginning, and once you get used to it, you'll start to appreciate the real thing, its texture and simplicity.
