Designer's Note: A collection of accessories inspired by the theme of admiring lotuses in summer. For the soft hairpins with abundant flowers that tend to be heavier, we've created them in hairpin and four-tooth hair comb styles. These offer greater stability when worn. We've opted against hairpins and hair clips because overly heavy hairpins can cause a top-heavy sensation, making them difficult to secure. Soft hairpins (without a main body): Pros: Highly versatile, can be bent into various shapes. They also feature less exposed metal (copper wire is encased in yarn), so oxidation is less noticeable. To use, insert the small black U-pins into the head and tail of the soft hairpin to secure it. Cons: Due to the lack of a main body, they are slightly more involved to use. Unlike hair clips that can be simply attached, soft hairpins require you to first position them where you want to wear them, then insert the two small U-pins for fixation. Styles with clasps allow you to attach tassels, while those without clasps offer a more minimalist look. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. With proper care, it can maintain its color for over six months, oxidizing less readily and appearing more aesthetically pleasing than brass.
