It gets its name from the plant-like or moss-like inclusions within, resembling various aquatic plants. It is a form of chalcedony and is truly special. Besides silica itself, its composition includes minerals like sodalite, manganese, and iron. It is said to possess energies that stabilize the mind and ward off evil! ∆ Gemstones and crystals have their own subtle energy fields.
