It will naturally oxidize over time due to exposure to air and the environment, which may cause a dulling of its luster and a deepening of its metallic hue. This is a normal occurrence. ・ If your brass jewelry oxidizes and turns black, here are a few methods to restore its shine: - Simply wipe with a silver polishing cloth to restore luster. The cloth turning black is normal and it should not be washed, as this will diminish its effectiveness. - Gently brush with a toothbrush dipped in a small amount of dish soap or toothpaste, then dry. - Wipe with a clean cloth dampened with a small amount of brass polish to restore the brass's shine. Afterward, rinse with dish soap to remove any residual polish and prevent potential allergic reactions during wear. ・ Preserved floral jewelry is made from fresh flowers and can last over 5 years.
