Seraphinite pendant, Wire Wrap Pendant, Copper Necklace

This wire wrap pendant features a deep forest green color seraphinite cabochon with feathery pattern. I twist, weaving and coil each part of this wire wrap pendant from variety of sizes of raw copper wire. The copper pendant has been antiqued and polished to give it a richer patina and color depth. Size of the necklace is 55 mm tall and 30 mm width. Copper chain 18" included. Seraphinite apparently acquired its name due to its resemblance to feathers due to its chatoyancy. Seraphinite is named after the biblical seraphs or seraphim angels. Seraphinite, also known as Serafina, Clinochlor or Green Chlorite, is a gemstone characterized by its lovely, deep forest green color, highlighted by shimmering strokes and feathery patterns caused by the mica mineral.
