To address this, we apply a food-safe sealant to all our ceramic tableware before shipping, eliminating the need for an initial water-soaking process (known as 'mejime'). This sealing process requires 2-3 days, hence our shipping timeframe of 5 days from order placement. If you prefer not to have the sealant applied, please inform us at the time of purchase. - Cutlery shown in product images is not included. - Product images are edited and photographed to be as accurate as possible.
