Our paper-cloth products are washable. Many are surprised to hear that paper can be washed, perhaps imagining it's due to waterproof coatings. Paper-cloth originates from tree bark, much like traditional paper. However, while regular paper breaks down bark into pulp, paper-cloth retains the bark's long fibers. These long fibers are spun into yarn, which is then woven into fabric. This fabric is then cut and sewn to create our products. The retained long fibers make paper-cloth more durable than conventional paper. It's also water-washable, breathable, quick-drying, and naturally resistant to mold. Sourced from FSC-certified forests, our paper-cloth is biodegradable and recyclable, reflecting our hope that more people will embrace this environmentally friendly material.
