Pottery
Diameter 9.7cm height 9.3cm
It is a teacup with a green oribe glaze on the inside and a part of the outside, followed by a traditional and humorous oribe design with a red handle (brown pigment).
The design is not my original, but it is surprising that such a modern and unique design was invented from Muromachi to the Edo period, with oribe-patterned pomegranate and sawtooth.
Oribe glaze is thinner on the outside than on the inside.
The size is large and contains plenty.
It is a wheel-ground but slightly oval shape.
