European leather typically has fewer scars and blemishes, offering superior quality and a higher price point compared to American leather. • Genuine leather, much like human skin, may occasionally show minor scars or natural growth lines. We do our best to avoid these during production. │ Leather Characteristics │ • Natural variations in color depth between batches are normal. Vegetable-tanned leather develops a richer hue with use, gradually deepening to a caramel color over time. • Like human skin, natural leather has pores and will absorb water. After air-drying, faint water marks are a natural occurrence. The piece will be treated with maintenance oil upon completion to reduce susceptibility to moisture or stains. • Avoid soaking the leather in water. If it accidentally gets wet, air dry it in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight. • Light dirt can be gently wiped with a clean cotton cloth, but deep oil stains are difficult to remove. They will become less noticeable over time, so please use with care and a relaxed attitude! │ Leather Dyeing │ • This series retains the character of hand-dyed brushstrokes. Through repeated testing, we've achieved our most satisfying shades and color proportions, making each piece unique. • Dyed products will not fade with incidental friction, but the nature of vegetable-tanned cowhide means the color saturation may decrease over time. • Undyed leather is close to beige and will deepen in color and show marks based on individual usage and habits, much like a diary recording our life stories. │ Leather Care │ • Frequent use is the best form of care; the oils from your hands will nourish the leather. If the edges feel dry, you can apply leather care oil. • When storing, keep in a dry place.
