Production Process
This ear cuff beautifully combines silk thread and natural stone. Each natural stone used in this piece has a unique pattern and color, shaped by nature over time. The gentle glow and calming energy of the stone add a natural presence to the ear, helping to bring a sense of tranquility to the wearer. Additionally, to highlight the silk thread's natural sheen, a single strand is carefully wrapped around a sturdy metal base, enhancing the elegance of the design.
Sustainability
All pieces are crafted from high-quality Japanese silk threads that are unexpectedly left over during the production of woven fabrics, such as those used for kimonos. We've learned that surplus silk thread is often discarded, so we sought a way to avoid wasting this precious material, spun from silkworm cocoons, down to the shortest lengths.
Our pieces are designed for longevity, as the thread can be rewound and the base can be repaired as needed.
