40060 French antique red velvet inlaid metal lace jewelry box This is a gorgeous antique jewelry box from the time of Napoleon III. Approximately 1880 to 1910, it is covered with purple velvet. There are exquisite silver decorative metal sheets in the middle of the top, four corners and the lock part. The metal sheet decoration is in the style of Art Nouveau, with many details and floral patterns. Purple velvet has different styles and romance as the light changes, a charming charm that is difficult to describe.
