I wanted to create earrings that were reminiscent of bougainvilleas which remind me of home (Eswatini). I created studs because as someone who works a lot with my hands and is quite active, stud earrings are the best way forward for everyday wear.
Each of these are handcrafted making them one of a kind. A single piece of metal is sawed out from a larger sheet, hammered, twisted and soldered together.
