When you first receive the mat, wipe it with pure water wet wipes and then let it air dry. 2. The smell of a new mat will fade with frequent practice and cleaning. 3. Do not clean the mat with alcohol, as it will cause the mat to lose its anti-slip properties. Simply wipe the mat with water. 4. Before practicing, we recommend blotting away excess oil from your face with a tissue to prevent leaving marks. Avoid using lotions or oil-based products on your hands, feet, and face. 5. When storing, roll the mat with the colored side facing out and the black rubber side facing inward. Do not roll it inward, as this can cause irreversible creases and cracks on the PU surface. 6. For deep cleaning, you can dilute a small amount of dish soap or soapy water and gently wipe with a sponge or soft cloth, then air dry. 7. Some oil marks from your face will inevitably appear on the mat during practice. These marks will gradually fade over time. 8. As the base is made of natural rubber, which is biodegradable and naturally oxidizes, be sure to avoid direct sunlight or prolonged exposure outdoors. High temperatures, direct sun, and rain will accelerate rubber aging, brittleness, or damage. 9. If not using for an extended period, simply roll it loosely (do not roll tightly) to maintain the material's elasticity and integrity. 🌱 Material Properties and Gentle Reminders 1. 2MOON strictly selects a highly anti-slip, non-toxic PU surface and a 100% natural, biodegradable rubber base. It is manufactured using a non-toxic hot-pressing process, without added harmful plasticizers or strong chemical curing agents. 2. PU material is sensitive to moisture, oils, and direct sunlight. If the mat is not air-dried after use or is stored in a humid environment for extended periods, the material may naturally age over time, leading to surface stickiness, flaking, or delamination. This is a normal physical change of the material and not a sign of poor quality. 3. With proper ventilation, care, and regular use, the mat can provide optimal anti-slip performance and stable support for 1.5 to 2 years. When the surface's anti-slip effectiveness naturally diminishes over time, we recommend replacing it with a new mat to maintain optimal practice safety.
