We value a relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." Because the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, there are inevitably "weaving flaws" that may appear as "fraying" at first glance. While these are unavoidable when using old machinery, we make efforts to minimize them through thorough inspections at the factory and by avoiding them as much as possible during fabric cutting. If found, we use them in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it is impossible to eliminate them completely.
