We reuse broken or chipped ceramic pieces that would otherwise be discarded, applying Kintsugi to transform them into accessories. The concept behind these creations is to allow people to feel closer to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, giving new possibilities to these materials by transforming them into modern accessories that connect to the future. We've paired elegant ceramic fragments, subtly showcasing floral or leaf patterns, with pinkish freshwater pearls. They sway delicately with every movement, exuding a refined grace. The sides of the ceramic pieces are adorned with Kintsugi, allowing the gold to shimmer beautifully from every angle and enhance their sophisticated appeal. In such cases, please note that there may be individual differences in color, pattern, and size of the ceramic fragments and natural stones compared to the photo. *Kintsugi is a unique Japanese traditional repair method that mends broken or chipped pottery using lacquer and gold powder. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional Kintsugi which uses natural lacquer derived from the urushi tree, this method uses adhesive for the primary bonding.
