A denim jacket is an essential piece for any wardrobe. By 1967, denim jacket styles had matured, with the TYPE3 being the most popular at the time. Compared to the TYPE2, the TYPE3 features a slimmer cut, with shield-shaped double pockets, and the removal of the previous generation's seam allowance. Reinforced stitching at the pocket corners and two downward-extending cone seams are characteristic of the TYPE3. This RED TORNADO jacket uses our own developed 14oz denim fabric, rich in texture with clear slubbing and natural fading. Guests familiar with RT's proprietary 14oz fabric will recognize its quality. The hardware features custom-made antique silver buttons, and adjustable waist tabs.
