Some things
are born of nature.
During the firing process,
the most beautiful glaze pearls are left behind.
Dripping from the bottom of the piece,
I call them "Lost Pearls."
They can be transformed into another form of beauty,
becoming necklaces,
bracelets,
rings, and earrings.
I named this series of works "Lost Pearls,"
referring to the most beautiful glaze pearls left in the kiln.
Irreplicable,
unrepeatable,
and not customizable,
these are the Lost Pearls.
