Aloha Brooch Set

Picking up where Purrple Label’s Spring/Summer 2017 Friends of Mine left off, SUPERSWEET x moumi’s Cruise 2018 maroons on moumi, myogi, and kikilala’s version of the Blue Lagoon. A continued journey into the wild, with an added theme of survival. Inspired by the 1980’s controversial film of the same title starring a teenage Brooke Shields, the key visuals reference different elements on this mysterious island. These brooches are designed as the final "toppings" of the fabric manipulation technique SUPERSWEET x moumi has become well associated with. The Aoha set features the narrative of the designer-cats becoming one with the nature ad life on the island as they turn themselves into colourful plumeria flowers in order to fit in as well as shine at the same time! Ideally these work anywhere pieces with the Aloha print, but like any great chameleons, they go brilliantly with pretty much everything. They will also make perfect gifts for those feline lovers! All processes to make these wonderful brooches are almost entirely crafted by hand including the stitching. Irregularities are considered characteristics of the products that make them truly one-of-a-kind. Each brooch measures approx. 6 cm. across. | Made in Thailand
