Hand-woven Linen stole [Seifu *05]
Material: 97% linen, 3% silk
Size: Approx. 40cm x 170cm (excluding 5cm fringe)
This is a medium-sized stole that is hand-woven by ordering the thinnest 120-count hemp yarn from a yarn wholesaler in Kyoto, dyeing it in various colors from bleached yarn, and hand-weaving it. It's so thin that it's almost transparent, and it doesn't have any strong firmness or stiffness, and it's very light and soft and blends into your body.
Using two colors of purple and blue linen thread, the center and both ends are woven with different color patterns. You can enjoy various expressions depending on how you wear it.
Ultra-fine ramie thread, which is half the thickness of standard hemp thread used in hand-weaving, is characterized by its low fiber fuzziness and luster. The total number of warp threads is 500, and the density is fine, giving it a very supple texture. Linen stoles have better water absorption, moisture absorption, and quick drying properties than cotton, so they are not sticky to the skin and have a smooth and refreshing feel, so they can be used for three seasons from spring to autumn.
*There may be creases during shipping. Lightly apply a steam iron to clean it.
*If you would like wrapping, please let us know as we will accept it free of charge.
