There are many long-established taiyaki shops throughout Japan. When you look closer, you can see that the tools used to make taiyaki are iron clamps that look like scissors. The chef repeatedly puts the batter and fillings on them one by one, and then uses them one by one. Roasting over direct fire is the traditional "Itcho Yaki" technique.
It’s so cool to watch the craftsmen roasting each fish with their skillful movements! The fish that is treated well is really delicious!!! (Little Master’s music plays)
The full red bean filling is neither sweet nor greasy but dense, and the outer layer is thin and crispy without too much batter. It made me break the stereotype of taiyaki (red bean cake). It is said that the sweet potato tastes great too!
The food you encounter by chance is always delicious, especially in winter when you eat hot taiyaki, which makes you twice as happy.
