Agarwood from Kalimantan | Top-tier Xingzhou Series Region - Rich and Cool Aroma
Within the Xingzhou series of agarwood regions, Kalimantan agarwood has long been recognized as a benchmark for high-quality agarwood. Located in Indonesian Borneo, Kalimantan is a vast island, approximately fifteen times the size of Taiwan, yet with a relatively low population density. This allows for the preservation of extensive primary tropical rainforests, creating an ideal environment for the growth and resin formation of natural agarwood trees.
In recent years, due to over-harvesting of agarwood resources, the yield of natural Kalimantan agarwood has rapidly declined, making pieces with high oil content and rich aroma exceptionally rare. High-quality Kalimantan agarwood circulating in the market today is often found by chance and possesses significant collectible value.
Kalimantan agarwood is known for its stable and rich fragrance. Upon first encounter, there is a distinct woody agarwood aroma, which gradually gives way to a natural cooling sensation and is interwoven with balsamic undertones. Older specimens may even exhibit a gentle floral and fruity sweetness. The overall scent is layered, warm, and substantial, offering a long-lasting, pleasant experience that is deeply appreciated by agarwood experts and enthusiasts alike.
Currently, Kalimantan old agarwood aged over thirty years is even more precious in the market. These pieces have been preserved by collectors from previous generations, and through time, their aroma has become more mellow and stable. Making them available online allows collectors who appreciate agarwood to browse and purchase with peace of mind. Whether for daily enjoyment or long-term collection, they hold exceptional value.

Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1983, with a background in craft design. He has wandered the streets of Japan, experiencing how wooden art infuses ancient alleyways with warm and profound vitality. Objects that seem like fragments of time, carrying traces of history and silhouettes of the future, seek a delicate balance between opposition and harmony, transforming into refined works that closely connect the vision of the new generation with the simplicity of the old era. Agarwood, once ground into powder for appreciation, is solemnly placed in the most auspicious locations in Japanese homes, symbolizing vitality and light.
The agarwood wood originates from its source, pure and flawless, untouched by artificial processes like resin boiling, line drawing, or synthetic fragrances. It is presented in its most natural form. Through ancient scent-extraction techniques, the outer layer of deadwood is meticulously hand-peeled, revealing the true soul of the agarwood. This not only bestows upon it eternal vitality but also allows tradition and modern craftsmanship to subtly intertwine at the fingertips, transforming into a feast for the eyes and nose. Its rich aroma is like solidified time, gently drawing together memories of the past and aspirations for the future, allowing them to meet and resonate within the fragrance, extending endlessly, distant and profound.
